Congo Cabaret began as a small sample video to place into Robert’s next feature documentary, Mood Lavender, but Chad suggested he do it as a full short film first to help raise awareness of the larger project. Once the Gossfields came on board to direct, the project quickly expanded, and he and Kendall helped produce what became a very large production.
Congo has been selected in at least a dozen film festivals and won nearly a half dozen awards to date.
